A group of Minnesota teens learned about the political process and talked to their legislators on March 27 about the safe school bill.
It was all part of the first annual Jewish-Muslim Youth Day where the floor was open to the kids and the issues directly affecting them.
The teens also met with local community leaders and received training about how to effectively lobby lawmakers.
